Anchovies since 1984
Pujadó Solano dates back to the 1970s when Milagros Solano, a native of Santoña, a Cantabrian town renowned for anchovies, and from a family with a seafaring and anchovy salting tradition, decided, with her entrepreneurial spirit and the unwavering help of her husband Alfons Pujadó, to found the company in Barcelona in 1984. It didn't take them long to grow and solidify their dream.

The secret to our success lies in our unwavering commitment to quality, raw materials, and the experience of artisanal craftsmanship. As a result, we achieve a unique flavor and texture that sets us apart and appeals to the most discerning palates.
The company is growing
In 2002, they expanded their production capacity with another facility in Santoña, returning to their roots. With their effort and perseverance, they passed on their expertise to their children, who now run the company, maintaining the same principles that have characterized them from day one.
Santoña: quality seal
Santoña is a town with a great fishing tradition whose port is considered the main one in the region in terms of inshore fishing and one of the most important in northern Spain. Its tradition of producing high-quality anchovy fillets, to which most of the population is dedicated, makes this town known as the "Cradle of the Anchovy."
In the world
We want anchovy fillets to be recognized worldwide. We have an export department that works to deliver our products internationally, ensuring that the product arrives in the best condition and maintains the superior quality we offer.
