“Northern white tuna” (Thunnus alalunga) refers to albacore tuna caught in the Cantabrian Sea. Belonging to the tuna family, northern white tuna is one of the highest quality varieties, characterized by its exquisite flavor and a smoother texture than the rest of its species. Fishing takes place during the coastal season, from June to October, when the fish is at its optimal point for capture and consumption. It is also sustainably caught, guaranteed by the MSC certificate.
