NORTHERN WHITE TUNA FROM THE COASTAL FISHING SEASON IN OLIVE OIL, HANDCRAFTED EXCLUSIVELY WITH FISH CAUGHT DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS AND SUSTAINABLY.
Bonito del norte (Thunnus alalunga) is one of the most prized fish in our gastronomy for its light-colored flesh, delicate flavor, and tender, juicy texture.
We select bonito del norte caught during the Cantabrian coastal fishing season, which mainly takes place during the summer months, when the specimens are at an optimal quality. The fishing is carried out sustainably, and its origin and traceability are certified with the MSC label.
Once at our factory in Santoña, the bonito is prepared and packed by hand. We select different pieces of its flesh and preserve them in olive oil, which adds softness and enhances its flavor without overshadowing it.
The result is a tasty and versatile preserve, perfect for enjoying directly, preparing salads, appetizers, pintxos, or adding a special touch to any recipe.
