New selection of organic products from Pujadó Solano
Pujadó Solano is a company with more than 40 years of existence, a traditional canning company from the Cantabrian Sea, consolidated in the food sector for its production of select quality products. Tradition, experience, quality of raw materials, demanding work and innovation are the distinguishing features of Pujadó Solano de Santoña .
At Pujadó Solano we believe in innovation and after many years of experience innovating and creating different ranges of gourmet products, we have launched the new range of Organic Gourmet products.
Bio, Eco or Organic products, also called “Eco-Friendly” products, follow the highest quality standards, fishing in season and in season, and use organic ingredients such as organic virgin olive oil and organic white wine vinegar in their production.
Last October 2018 we presented the new range of organic select products, with very good acceptance, at two of the most important specialist fairs in the food and bioculture sector, SIAL Paris 2018 and Biocultura’18 in Madrid.
Pujadó Solano’s presence at Biocultura Madrid alongside the Food Quality Office ODECA means everything we want to be like: we create a quality product from the Cantabrian Sea that is in line with a growing sector that demands organic products and responsible consumption.
Responsible with the Environment
At Pujadó Solano we are a company that strives to reduce our environmental impact by creating and promoting the consumption of organic products and using MSC-certified sustainable fishing. This is why we work with great responsibility for the environment and transparency when developing our Corporate Social Responsibility Plan to implement all possible processes to commit to sustainability and the future as a business model. Here are some examples:
- Controlled Quality Certification that certifies that our product is fished and produced in the Cantabrian Sea
- Controlled production.
- Km 0 products due to their proximity to the Lonja de Santoña located 200 meters from our factory
- Millenary artisanal production.
- Innovation of “Eco-friendly” products; Bio, Eco or organic.
- Ecoexperiences : Guided tours of the canning factory in Santoña called “Ecoexperiences” to show the production process of the organic line.
- MSC certification certifies that our product has been fished in a controlled manner and with methods that protect and respect the seabed.
What is the MSC and what are its main objectives?
MSC or the Marine Stewardship Council is an organization that works to protect the world’s fishing resources, in this way it promotes the sustainable environmental alternative with a Sustainable Fishing certification program . It is the body that audits and reviews the fishing process to ensure it is sustainable, as well as its traceability and production.
One of the main reasons why we should consume MSC certified products is because we are contributing to the protection of the oceans, their animals and their livelihood for the future.
