The “Great Taste Awards”, a matter of stars!

The  Great Taste Awards  are the Oscars of cooking.

This award is the largest and most trusted in the world, where more than 500 judges working in small teams evaluate and judge   12,634 foods and drinks during 65 days of judging , with dates ranging from March to early July 2018.

Great Taste is a respected award that is curated by chefs, buyers, writers and retailers of impeccable reputation.

Each year, the awards are judged and organised by   the Guild of Fine Food , and are the benchmark for good food and drink from producers who strive to do better every day and aspire to their stars every year.

But what are the results?

In a tough judgement based on the number of  products and flavours , only  192 foods  received the highest rating.

Categories are one, two or three stars and the Great Taste is the world’s largest and most trusted food and drink award.

Pujadó Solano, and for the third consecutive year has won stars with different products from its Gourmet line:

Here are our results

Our awards, in 2017 two stars for Anchovies in Olive Oil and one star for anchovies in olive oil.

And in 2018? : Two stars for our anchovy!!

We are very proud of our work as canners and producers of one of the greatest treasures that the Cantabrian Sea has to offer, and we are also proud of our team that has achieved all of this with great effort.

The opinions of the judges have moved us the most
