Eco-friendly Products, a commitment to sustainability!

New selection of Organic Products from Pujadó Solano

Pujadó Solano is a company with over 40 years of experience, an artisanal canner from the Cantabrian Sea consolidated in the food sector for its elaboration of select quality products. Tradition, experience, quality raw materials, demanding work, and innovation are the distinctive features of Pujadó Solano from Santoña.

At Pujadó Solano, we believe in innovation, and after many years of experience innovating and creating different ranges of gourmet products, we have launched a new range of Organic Gourmet products.

Bio, Eco, or Organic products, also known as "Eco-Friendly" products, follow the highest quality standards, fishing during season, and use organic ingredients in their preparation, such as organic virgin olive oil and organic white wine vinegar.

Last October 2018, we presented the new range of select organic products, with great acceptance, at two of the most important specialist fairs in the food and bioculture sector, SIAL Paris 2018 and Biocultura'18 in Madrid.

Pujadó Solano's presence at Biocultura Madrid, together with the Office of Food Quality (ODECA), represents everything we aspire to be: we create a quality product from the Cantabrian Sea that aligns with a growing sector that demands organic products and responsible consumption.

Environmentally Responsible

At Pujadó Solano, we are a company that strives to reduce our environmental impact by creating and promoting the consumption of organic products and using sustainable fishing certified by MSC. That is why we work with great responsibility for the environment and transparency in developing our Corporate Social Responsibility Plan to implement all possible processes for a commitment to sustainability and the future as a business model. Some examples are:

  • Controlled Quality Certification that confirms our product is fished and prepared in the Cantabrian Sea.
  • Controlled Production.
  • Km 0 Products due to their proximity to the Santoña fish market, located 200 meters from our factory.
  • Millenary artisanal preparation.
  • Innovation of “Eco-friendly” products; Bio, Eco or organic.
  • Eco-experiences: Guided tours of the canning factory in Santoña called "Eco-experiences" to show the production process of the organic line.
  • MSC Certification that confirms our product has been fished in a controlled manner and with methods that protect and respect the seabed.

What is MSC and what are its main objectives?

MSC, or the Marine Stewardship Council, is an organization that works to protect the world's fish resources, thus promoting environmentally sustainable alternatives with a Sustainable Fishing certification program. It is the body that audits and reviews the fishing process to ensure it is sustainable, as well as its traceability and production.

One of the main reasons why we should consume MSC-certified products is because we contribute to the protection of the oceans, their animals, and their subsistence for the future.
