In Pujadó Solano we offer a range of superior quality products “Selección Extra” where you can find the best quality fillets. Selected fillets of larger size and better texture.

Fishing in the Cantabrian Sea begins in the spring months, when the anchovy (Engraulis encrasicholus) approaches the Cantabrian coasts to spawn. This is the best time to catch this species of fish, since it has a more meaty texture and higher quality. The boats identify the fishing schools or shoals and then proceed to encircle them from the surface with purse seines. Purse seine fishing is very selective and environmentally friendly. We have the MSC seal that certifies the use of sustainable methods and the traceability of our products.

Behind these anchovy fillets hides a long process of artisanal elaboration, from its selection and maceration in vinegar to its filleting and final packaging. It is a totally handmade process to offer a product of excellent quality.

Ingredients: fresh anchovies from the Bay of Biscay (Engraulis encrasicholus), white wine vinegar, olive oil and sea salt.

Natural product, without preservatives or colorants.
